My Story
Welcome! My name is Erin!
I’m the mother of 3-year-old Jimmy and 4-year-old Jane. I’m also the mother of four grown boys. Brian is 30, Brad 29, Philip 26 and Noah 23. (Not a single grand baby)
We live in a small town in Lake County, CA. We moved here after having lost everything in the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. It was the closest I could find to ensure a safe home for my then foster children.
I’m easy going, funny, outgoing, resilient, easy to get along with, sometimes a little unsure and even a little scared at times. I don’t use a lot of big words, but I have a lot to say. Let me tell you a little more about me and what I hope you will find as you watch us grow.
I, like so many have had my Trials in life but, also Triumphs. The latest being the diagnosis of Autism for my two young children. Trying to feverishly read everything I can about it as well as talking with all the therapists and social workers that are in our daily lives to help them. The one thing that I have found throughout all my research is that WE ARE NOT ALONE!

They are amazing little people with so much love to give. I adopted both. I will be going over this and so much more through out the blog. I can’t wait to share this journey and all it entails with you. Enjoy.
